There are many types of Rose Oil, each with their own skin care benefits, and all with one of most beloved scents on the planet. However, for aging skin,Rose Otto is not only the most effective, it is by far superior for topical use. It takes 60 roses to produce a single drop of this purely divine oil. Rose Otto is steam distilled rather than solvent extracted, which means there is no chance of residual solvent ingredients being put on to and absorbed by your skin. Organic Carrot Seed Essential Oil
Organic Carrot Seed Oil (Daucus carota), has long been an essential oil for skincare used by those ‘in-the-know’ people who share it with those closest to them. Affectionately known as ‘Queen Anne Lace’ due to the lovely white flowers that grace the tops of these wild carrots, it is actually the seeds that are steam-distilled to create the essential oil. Gaining popularity for its anti-aging benefits, it is now being widely used in skincare products. Once again, this essential oil is packed full of antioxidants which not only protect our skin from free radicals, but also fights against lines & wrinkles by firming and toning the skin. Vitamin C boosts collagen production, while Vitamin E moisturizes. The Boswellia tree, which grows most commonly in Africa, the Middle East, India and the Arabian Peninsula, produces a resin that is steam-distilled to create the essential oil. While many ancient remedies from this resin are gaining much new attention from medical researchers, the use of this substance for skin care has been around a while... just ask Cleopatra. Organic Geranium Essential Oil

Organic Jojoba Oil
Ravenscroft uses organic Jojoba as our base oil, since it is closest to the natural moisture (sebum) in our skin.
Joboba oil (Simmondsia chinensis) is derived from the nuts produced from this hardy, perennial plant which thrives in harsh desert climates of places such as Southern Arizona, California & Northern Mexico. This oil, made up of 50% wax ester (an oil vital for healthy skin) which is similar to sebum, the waxy-like oil our skin produces to hydrate and create a protective barrier. Because of this, Joboba oil is lighter and much less likely to clog pores. It also is chock-full of Vitamin E and other antioxidants, so it aids in reducing UV sun damage and blocking free radicals which play a large part in the aging process. This amazing oil also helps with elasticity by stimulating the production of collagen (which gives our skin its ‘bounce-back’ from facial expressions), and contains sterols which are the compounds that help to strengthen our skin’s actual cell structure.
